Ola plans to roll out 10,000 electric three-wheelers within a year and a million EVs by 2021. The company wants to build out of its existing pilot project ongoing in Nagpur.  


PM Modi heads for the UK via Sweden to conclude potential trade and investment deals with both nations. The closing of a potential trade deal with UK may be on the cards in light of ongoing Brexit negotiations.  


Martin Sorrell abruptly quits as CEO of global advertising giant WPP, putting the company at risk of a break-up. Sorrell was the Founder of the 200,000 employee corporation which was a network of over 400 ad agencies worldwide. He quit amidst allegations of personal misconduct and misuse of company assets.   


Shire plc to sell its oncology business to French drugmaker Servier for $2.4bn, discouraging Japanese company Takeda Pharma from bidding for the former.
