Paying the Price for Discounting: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has ordered an investigation into alleged anti-trust law violation by e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart.
The move comes on the heels of a complaint by the Delhi Vyapar Mahasangh, which alleged that the e-commerce companies gave preferential treatment to certain sellers. Rise and Resist: The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) has moved Bombay High Court against the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI’s) amended new tariff order, first issued in December 2018 and implemented in February 2019.
The Press note issued by TRAI on January 1 containing amendments to tariff order for pricing of television channels directed broadcasters to unveil their new prices by January 15.
