The What?

Here at Transfin. we hope to create an enriching and interactive platform for our contributors, encouraging them to write on what they’re passionate about, and what Millennials care for. In that spirit, we invite all college-goers to showcase their zest for insightful writing.

The Who?

You must be a college student to participate (including Post Graduate and Doctoral students). Pick one topic from the below to write an Op-Ed:

  • Making of Food into Business Beyond the Table

(Hint: Grub Fests, Street Food Festivals, Culinary Societies and Food Blogging)

  • Transformation of Social Media Websites into Business Opportunity

(Hint: Instagram, Behance etc.)

  • Will You Feel Safe if Your Uber won’t have a Driver?

(Hint: Artificial Intelligence)

  • Is MBA a Pre-requisite to Become an Entrepreneur?

(Hint: Why do you want to do MBA?)

The How?

Entries in English language would only be accepted. You should not exceed 600 words in your submission. Do not plagiarise your content, add references, hyperlinks to mention your sources. Images, if used, should not have any copyright. Use free stock images available online. Importantly, it should be your original work. Give your piece a compelling title and send only one entry on any one above mentioned topic. More than one entry would nullify your candidature.

Name your document file as ‘Entry-First Name-Last Name-College’ (Eg. Entry-Raghav-Tayal-HansRaj) and mail it to us at by 15th May 2018 midnight. Keep the Subject of the mail and name of the document same, i.e., ‘Entry-First Name-Last Name-College’. Your submission should be in a word document format (.doc, .docs extension).

Also include the latest version of your CV or link to your LinkedIn profile in the same e-mail.

The Prize?
